Full-stack developer and web designer from Aarhus, DK.
The human behind it
I'm Nicolai, a developer from Aarhus and a problem-solver before anything else. I just really like making things. Give me a problem or a half-formed idea and I'm happy, and usually I'll chase it just to see where it goes. Some of it turns into something real, some of it stays a weird side project, and that's kind of the point.
What I love about this field is that it never sits still. There's always something new to figure out, and I'm fine admitting when I don't know something yet, because I'll go and learn it. Making something out of nothing never gets old, and watching someone actually use it is the best part. When I'm not building, I'm gaming, travelling, or behind a camera. Photography and video are a big passion of mine too.
What I work with
From the dev log
view all →I built my own tools hub because I stopped trusting random web apps with my files
I needed to compress a video and strip a background off a photo without uploading either to a site I'd never heard of. So I built a small hub of tools that run entirely in your browser. Here is what is in it, and the parts that fought back.
World Cup predictions, and the week I got called a cheater
I added a daily World Cup prediction game to my Discord football bot. Then I called the first two exact scores and the server decided I was cheating.
